  Established: 1998

China Environment and Sustainable Development Reference and Research Center (CESDRRC)

Starting to distribute films, EEMP found that there was no centralized library. So in 1998 EEMP stimulated, designed, and created a library at the State Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA): the CESDRRC Center, the China Environment and Sustainable Development Research and Reference Center.

Today, CESDRRC has the largest collection of materials on environment and sustainable development in China. Items are freely available to the general public and the library is open to the public every weekday.

EEMPC Outreach is taking a break for the summer but will return in the autumn with more film screenings at the CESDRRC, continuing to raise public awareness of the issues of environment, health and society.Thank you to all of you came to watch films at the CESDRRC and took part in EEMPC's survey of the effectiveness of film in conveying information on these issues.
