PIINTEC Research & Reference Media Information Center for Environment & Sustainable Development (January 2004)

EEMP FILMS from the DPRK EEMP prefers to work from a bi-directional basis. EEMP traditionally also makes films in all the places that it operates in. These films are broadcast worldwide on the BBC World (Life and Earth Report) or on National Geographic (Jane Goodall).

Films about Korea would introduce the DPRK from a compassionate humanistic point of view. They could lower the tension as through understanding tension does get lowered. Choices made from knowledge are different than choices made from ignorance and films will help Korea understand the rest of the world and the rest of the world to understand Korea.

Environment and sustainable development have to be understood and acted upon to secure the future of humanity and the future of the world. Films could be about environment, agriculture, energy, public health and other topics. There is a critical need to introduce the rest of the world to Korea and Korea to the rest of the world. EEMP has the methodology and the mechanics and with funding this could be done instantly.
